Window open in Washington ??

I’m 34 weeks pregnant and sweating so bad I can’t sleep. My room is so muggy and hot I need my window open for cold air! Will I be safe to sleep with the window open with the smoke???? I have no other option to cool down :(

I live in Wenatchee WA, current visibility is like 1.5 miles air quality score of 380(hazardous). My house is box fan galore. If you aim them right you can get a pretty decent cross wind going inside... my husband has to bundle up at night that’s how cool you can get it.

Get a fan and have it blow right on you! I was in the same boat but bought a 5$ box fan that has worked wonders

I would definitely not do the breathing smoke option. Too much exposure to air pollution and smoke can actually trigger early labor. Im not sure how far along you are. Is there any way you can maybe get ahold of a mini fan and put an ice pack or 2 behind it? Or just keep a fan on you and have a wash cloth in a bowl that you can dip into and wet your forhead and hair throughout the night? Not going to lie, I've done that with a spray bottle before 😂 woke up hot, misted myself and went back to sleep with the cool fan blowing lol
