Hcg levels

I am about six weeks pregnant and I am feeling weak and shakey. I previously felt like this when I had an early pregnancy loss and they said it was caused by my hormone levels suddenly dropping. I made a doctors appointment to discuss how I was feeling and my concerns that I was feeling similar to how I did previously. The appointment was over the phone and all she offered was a blood test to check for anaemia, which I already had in july and i also take iron tablets. I asked if my hcg levels or hormone levels could be checked and she stated they don't have any guidance to check hcg levels and it's not something they will do. I feel a bit baffled that they won't do any blood tests regarding the actual pregnancy, anyone else had this?
