Anybody with experience know if a bookshelf like this would be sturdy enough to put a changing table topper on? I’m a FTM and figuring out our small nursery. I would love to do a bookshelf since baby girl has already received so many books!

I personally wouldn’t use a bookshelf. Its to skinny with no barriers on the side to stop baby from rolling.I’d use a wide dresser or something like that at least.

I wouldn't. Changing table pads are wider than that looks so it would be pretty unsteady.

They do make bookshelf convertible changing tables. That’s the route I’d go

Like where the “changing table” top part can be removed later then all that’s left is a bookshelf!

It would be easier to just put a changing pad on the floor to change her as needed. A designated space isn’t strictly necessary

A bookshelf like this seems more sturdy since the height isn’t any longer than the width. I would also recommend using a wooden changing pad holder on top so it’s more sturdy. The best option, however, is to use a dresser with a nice wide top.

Not sure how sturdy a bookcase is for that but we used a dresser as our changing table which was convenient having all babies clothes right where we changed our babies.
