Monistat during 1st trimester?

I am reading conflicting things about monistat use during pregnancy. Some say it's safe others say safe after 1st trimester (I am 7 weeks). My doctor told me to take Monistat but I'm nervous. I've tried using coconut oil as a natural more gentler alternative but doesnt seem to make it go away only feel better. Has anyone used monistat during the 1st trimester? Was everything ok?

Id trust your doctor, I used it in the first trimester and been fine ever since. Don’t try to cure it at home, your doctor wouldn’t tell you to use something if it wasn’t safe.

I wasn’t in my first trimester but my doctor told me Monistat was safe. I tried it and found it burned so bad lol so I checked with the pharmacist and they told me I could use canestan 7 day inserts.
