Stick it out or Give in?

So I have a Foley Balloon for my induction. I'm also on Pitocin. I wanted to do this delivery Vaginally and Naturally, but the cramps from the Foley Balloon made me tap out and get Morphine. Then that wore off and I got an epidural. I could not do the pain and I feel defeated. I feel fine now, besides tingly toes and I just threw up. I am so torn if I should just ask for a C-Section to be done or stick it out. I had to have an emergency C-Section with my daughter is 2012 and it kinda made me feel like less of a Mom because I did not push her out. I am kinda feeling the same way. My boyfriend is here with me and he just said its my choice with what I do.

I had to be induced with my first I was in labor for 48 hours before I tapped out and had a Csection. Do wants right for you the only thing that matters if you and baby boy coming home together. There’s nothing wrong with tapping out after the epidural you can’t eat so if your labor isn’t progressing your just gonna wear yourself out

YOU CAN DO IT!! Stick it out! Either way though, you are an amazing woman who has made a beautiful child. This baby will NOT think less of you on how they were delivered... just thankful for the love you have for them ❤️❤️

Girl you are strong either way !!! I have 3 friends who had both births and they said c-section is way harder so I always give my props to the moms who had to go that route I can only image the pain and the recovery.you are strong no one else can bring life into this world except US.having an epidural doesn’t make you less of a mom or a woman.you were just smart to get the drugs 🤣🤣 why put yourself through all that unnecessary pain when they have medicine to help you through the process.for what braggin right smh guuuurl pass me that epidural lol.you got this mama either Route you go. Now that you have the epidural definitely stick it out IF YOU CAN. Of course if baby becomes distressed then do what you gotta do. I was exactly like you, wanted naturally and vaginal delivery. Then had to be induced, pitocin got to much, got epidural then ended up c section because he wasn’t moving down. After 14 hr labour and being at the hospital already for 24 hours, I was extremely tired and my fears of having a c section went out the window because it meant having my child out and I could rest. My first was vaginal so this was worrying for me & now 2week pp. You won’t feel any less of a mother because that child is still coming out of YOU one way or another!
