Slightly elevated protein in placenta
Hi all. I was told yesterday (I’m almost 17 weeks) that my protein levels in my placenta were slightly elevated. My doctor didn’t seem worried, because all of my tests for genetic problems came back low risk and the protein wasn’t super elevated levels. She said at 30 weeks I’ll have an extra ultra sound to make sure baby is measuring 30 weeks and not behind. She said with levels that are extremely high sometimes baby can grow slower and they have to keep a close on on growth in third trimester. Has anyone experienced this?
