bleeding after sex

so im just over 9 weeks and had sex last night and after i was bleeding red blood and i had cramps most of the next morning i called doctor she told me its normal and not to worry but obviously i am as im still bleedin nearly 20 hours after sex its only on wiping but its red new blood anyone else had this and its been ok?
