Swollen lips

Is it normal to wake up with swollen lips? I just woke up and my top lip is pretty swollen. I never know when things are normal or not. I've had serious swelling in my feet, ankles and calves and protein in my urine. They said since I don't have high blood pressure they don't believe I have preeclampsia but they're watching for it. It makes me nervous every when things like this happen because I don't know if it's normal or not.
