Mamas with other babies I need your advice!

Okay I need some mamas advice. I’m 35 weeks tomorrow and my sons ENT decided he needs to get a tonsillectomy soon. Long story short in early August he was seen for the same concerns and I felt the Np seeing him wasn’t getting what our concerns were. Well Monday he spiked a high fever and as a nurse I can’t go back to work until he tests negative for Covid. So we get him tested for covid and strep both negative but his tonsils are huge! They have been huge for like a year. So I called his ent with concerns and she actually calls his pcp whom I work with. It too his pcp 20 minutes to explain to her the concerns we have and why he was brought in August to discuss and tonsillectomy. But the np didn’t listen to me. she then decided to consult with a ENT surgeon after talking to his pcp and the surgeon wants them out as soon as possible.....

So now I’m having to decide do I try to do it before this baby arrives?? I’m 35w tomorrow. What if I go in labor while my sons recovering? Do I wait and have to worry about my recovery my sons and a newborn? Ugh I just don’t know what to do. He’s also just about two (in less than two weeks) so he will have to stay overnight in the hospital after tonsillectomy. This all would have been much easier if they would have listened in August to the concerns we’ve had.
