I need some reassurance

Can I please hear some positive stories about long distance working out? We've been talking for a while and we are very in love. I'm terrified to meet him in person. I'm terrified he won't be attracted to me anymore, or we won't connect the same. I just want to know that long distance works sometimes cause I've heard so many negative stories lately and I'm starting to panic. It'll be a few months before we can meet irl.
