Spending on new babies moms ??

The first few months when you first have you baby how much do you spend ? And what are the most items being brought ?

Diapers and wipes, clothes if you haven’t already stocked up before they were born, formula if you aren’t breast feeding. Random things pop up too. Pacifiers, bottles. Stock up on bottles, diapers and wipes, Swaddles, pacifiers, clothes for the season.

We’re hoping to only need a few more items of newborn clothing or nothing at all. We have been prepping since we found out. We’ve bought a box of diapers and wipes each month now so even if we have to buy more we aren’t buying as much! We don’t have a lot of NB diapers my mom bought us a box and we’ll buy a box if we don’t get any at the shower (my friend only got 2&3 and a few 1s and one single sleeve of NB at hers!) so we’ll see what we get! But the box my mom bought is like 120 and I hear you need around 240-250 somewhere so if we have to get more we will but we’ll probably get another box next month if we don’t get any at the shower. We have 1 box of 1 and 2 each of 2&3. So I know we will need to buy more but want to see what we get and how big he is when he’s born! We also don’t have a ton of NB clothing items so I need to see if we get some from the shower or not (it’s online/mail so I’m worried people may not send clothes and may just stick to the registry so I did add a few NB clothes just in case!!) so we hope to only need to buy a few outfits/clothing items but we may not need to if he doesn’t fit NB 😁. 
We’ve bought bottles, blankets, swaddles, burp rags, pacis and such so we think we’ll be good!

Nothing really. For me it’s always just been formula. Diapers and wipes have always been gifted to us that we really didn’t have to buy them till my son was 2 and my daughter was 6 months. But with my daughter we did have to buy more newborn clothes right away. We had no where near enough. Other then that we don’t have to buy anything
