Cheap date ideas

Hey guys!!

So I recently started dating this dude who I’m head over heels for. He’s shipping off to bootcamp in December so I’m enjoying him for as long as I can and we both agreed to try the long distance thing. Because he’s shipping off he currently doesn’t have a job and is having trouble finding one with everything going on. I work and don’t mind one bit having to pay on our dates, I like him and want to be able to have fun so its not an issue dropping a couple bucks.

However, I think he feels a bit uncomfortable with me buying for him (as men tend to feel) and the last couple of times we’ve been out has tried to either say he isn’t hungry or sneak me the couple dollars he has.

So my question is what are some really good cheap (or free) date ideas that we could do so that he doesn’t feel like he owes me anything??
