Braxton Hicks already?

I’ve noticed a ton of Braxton Hicks contractions already - second baby, so I recognize the “belly tightening/Charlie horse” sensation.  It’s freaking me out a little as I feel like it’s super early...but maybe this is normal? Anyone else?

My doctor told me to drink more water when this happens. I drink a gallon a day and I don’t get the feeling anymore

I’ve had them since really early this pregnancy I’m only 17 weeks now and still getting them on and off. Don’t be nervous it shouldn’t be doing anything.

This is my second pregnancy and I’ve honestly been noticing them since 12 weeks maybe even earlier. I read they actually begin at 6 weeks but you usually can’t feel them until at least second trimester. If they last more than a minute or two or you’re having several every hour then you might want to mention it to your doctor but I think it’s totally normal!

Braxton hicks contractions start pretty early typically, just with your second pregnancy you know what they feel like and are mor win tune with your uterus, where as the first type you likely didn’t recognize them as Braxton hicks. Kinda like how you feel baby move earlier in 2nd pregnancies

I’m having them and have for about a week! I’m 19 weeks, 3 days now. Second baby, never felt them with my first!
