Late Period Yay
Hi ladies! So I am a first time mom to a 15 month old daughter. We had a c-section June 2019. 8 months ago I got off of birth control and I've been slowly weaning my daughter off of breastfeeding. I'm 5' 10", about 200 lbs, but I carry my weight well because of my height--but yeah I know I am overweight.
I'm going on my 3rd month of a new job, and I'm working 12 hr days, 5 days a week. Overtime has been kicking my butt, but I've already lost 15 lbs since starting. For 8 months, my period has been like clockwork at 30 days. Even when I was unbelievably stressed and feeling very unhealthy.
Losing all this weight, actually making a great paycheck, getting to work with my husband and have lunch with him every day, has helped my PPD and anxiety. Im so happy and motivated and active.
Not to be crude, but it has greatly impacted our sex life. We could go months with only one or two intimate moments, but this month alone, we have had sex 4 times a week. We have stopped using protection because we are trying to conceive between now and January. In 4 days, we have our 2 year wedding anniversary and it would make me so happy to give him a positive pregancy test. We conceived our daughter on our honeymoon, so it would be cute to have her sibling have a close birthday.
According to Glow, I am 2 days late. I havent been late since I conceived my first baby. I have been having baby dreams and my milk has dropped in a matter of a week from a 6 oz pump to 2 ounces. I feel silly because I went and emptied my bladder this morning before checking this app to see when my period was due.
I don't feel any cramps or smell my lady bits changing smell like she usually does when my period is about to start. First pregnancy, I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 9 weeks in. My nausea was worse in the 2nd and 3rd trimester rather than my first.
I'm also slightly nervous because I need to go to the doctor and get blood work to confirm (pregnancy tests didn't show but blood work showed I was pregnant first time). Im a negative rH and had a few complications in my pregnancy before so I would be in the high risk category. My husband has been trying to add me to his medical for a month now and they keep asking for more documents to prove we are married. As if an official marriage certificate and our tax forms and my military spouse ID wasn't enough. But because I'm in limbo with that, I can't go to the doctor.
So I guess I'm just really hoping my pregnancy shows up on the at home test this time. I really want this to be our anniversary gift ❤
