Having more discharge now?

Question

My discharge is normally a bit watery, and I’ve noticed a little extra in my underwear today. It doesn’t smell like pee. I feel like it’s not my water but I’m just not sure. I don’t want to bother my midwives, I have an appointment in 3 days and I’m just doubting myself.  I don’t know.

It’s normal to have extra discharge right now. A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself is it a continuous leak? If so it could be your water. Does it have a smell at all? If not, could be your water. 
If it’s not constant, it’s probably discharge. If it has any kind of smell, probably discharge. 
When in doubt, always call your medical provider to get their opinion. It’s not worth risking it being something serious just because you don’t want to be a bother. Trust me, it’s better to ask and it be nothing than to risk the infection and risks of your water breaking early.
