Membrane Sweep

Let’s talk membrane sweep.

I had an appointment at 36 weeks and my doctor told me that he would do a membrane sweep at my next appointment if I was interested. I go back on Friday and I’ll be 38 weeks exactly. I’m currently pregnant with baby #3 but I’ve never had a membrane sweep done before so I’m not exactly sure what to expect.

So those of you that have had it done before, what were your experiences? Pros? Cons?

I was 3cm dilated and soft at 36weeks and I’m not sure if there has been any change since then, if that makes a difference.
