Well that was scary

Today I had my routine 12 week check up. For the most part I have felt really good this pregnancy and I was expecting the usual 5 minute check up. After about 2 minutes (which seemed like eternity!) of trying to find my baby's heartbeat my doctor decided we needed to do a sono. Thankfully my dr is super encouraging and reassuring. It took her less than 5 seconds to find his or her heartbeat and we got to see the baby moving all over the place! It's so easy to take an easy pregnancy for granted but you never know when something could change!
