Chlamydia

Hey ladies.

I have a issue that has been bugging me a lot and even though it’s been a long time I haven’t been able to get over it. Last year when I went to the doctor I was told I had chlamydia. I got treated for it and told my boyfriend to get tested too. However, when he got tested his results came out to be negative but still got treated for it just in case. I didn’t have sex with anyone else throughout the relationship and well you can imagine the toll it had on the trust between us. It’s very weird and I just haven’t gotten over it. I asked my doctor about this and she said his immune system could have probably fought it off on its own. Does anyone now how this can happen? I would hate to think he cheated on me and even though I asked he denies it, that he never did. I don’t know, even though it was a year ago it still bugs me. My second question is about fertility. I don’t know how long I was infected with it. I’ve heard this can affect your fertility. I don’t want to have kids now, but I do in the future. Does this mean I’m infertile?
