No hate please 😢

So recently I've just found out that someone close to me has taken out a phone contract in my name and racked up a bill of over £1200. I got a letter from a debt recovery company and that's how I found out. How do I get out of this please? I know I should but I don't want to report fraud I just want it gone 😭 I don't feel I should pay this as its not my bill and they're aware its not mine as its a different phone number and email address (with the person's name in it). Is there any way of getting out of this? 😭

I have spent the day arguing with the phone company and the debt company. The debt company have filed for fraud. The phone company won't give me any information because I don't have the security codes or access to the email it was taken out in.

It looks like I have no other option but to pay this. Time is not on my side. The two companies are saying this is a civil matter and is between me and the person. If the bill is paid off then there's a small possibility they can transfer it to their file and clear my credit file. The person who done this agreed to pay £10 a week but that will take over 3 years and I don't have that time. I should mention that I have OCD and terrified of loved ones dying so this makes this even more difficult. I know I should walk away but I really do think my mental health is going to suffer. I have barely ate in days and I had a huge panic attack last night. I can't focus on anything other than this. My mind is consumed with worry and the impact this will have on my life in the very near future.
