First appt

So other than my initial appt with my OB to confirm my pregnancy & get started on prenatals (6 weeks at the time) I was scheduled to come back in 4 weeks (which was today 10 weeks 2days) which I THOUGHT would be my first look at the baby instead we just listened to the heartbeat, no ultrasound just some handheld device... which was amazing considering they couldn’t detect one at 6 weeks but I just really had high hopes lol so now I have to wait another 2 weeks to have my first screen to check for down syndrome etc. (This time at a women’s hospital) turns out my OB doesn’t deal with the ultrasounds how disappointing ☹️☹️☹️ anyone can tell me what to expect??? If I’m going to be let down again lol?? I just want to see my little prune I feel like that’s a long time to not see anything
