What is the longest amount of time you left a cup in????? I accidentally left mine in for like 4 days and idk if it’s okay or not 😬

Just monitor yourself. As it isn’t like a tampon absorbing anything you should be fine. The cup merely sits there and collects the blood. I’ve left mine in fit 27 hours once and was totally fine. Yes it’s not ideal but again just monitor it to make sure everything is normal ( normal discharge, no pain, not a funny colour or smell ) if there is anything out of the normal please go to see a doctor

Okay well first off a menstrual cup it’s like a tampon. Currently I believe there is only one instance of anyone getting tss from their cup. All that to say it’s highly unlikely that you will get tss from your cup, but it isn’t super sanitary to leave it in for that long as it’s possible for you to develop an infection in the area. An infection wouldn’t be too serious (they are easily treatable), but it’s best to avoid all that.

If you leave a tampon on over night I’ve herd that’s really not good but all good if you are okay

From what I’ve heard about tampons, it’s not good to keep anything in for more than 8 hours or so. I think it’s a risk for toxic shock if not sanitary issues. Hope you don’t forget again but I’m glad you’re alright!
