Had a surprise appendectomy today... 9w4d 😳

If it wasn’t a random case of appendicitis on a Thursday morning it wouldn’t have been me 🙄

Our baby was waving her little arms and wiggling all around on ultrasound pre-surgery... had a nice strong heartbeat @ 185bpm. They’re going to schedule another ultrasound for me tomorrow for peace of mind. They said the procedure went well and there was nothing to indicate that something happened to my baby during that time. My appendix wasn’t ruptured so we’re grateful for that. I don’t have any vaginal bleeding and no pain besides my incisions and bloating from the gas from surgery. Has anyone had a surgical procedure while pregnant before? I’m so nervous for our little babe. It’s our rainbow baby 😭
