Night weaning?

Question

If you night weaned, how did you do it? My almost 8 month old gets up twice a night and recently doesn’t really nurse just uses me as a pacifier. I’m going back to work on October 1st and need sleep to function! Help

We just did the sleep lady shuffle with my 16 month old. I had my husband do the night wakings for the first 3 nights. She got used to it really quick which surprised me. Best decision ever!

Still trying to figure this out at 15 months. My son wakes up screaming like a banshee and won’t let my husband give him a bottle. But as soon as I go in and give him the boob, he’s fine.

I noticed that he was waking up at the same time every night and not really nursing anymore, he just wanted comfort. So I sent the husband in his room instead and he just rocked him back to sleep. A few nights of that he stopped waking up and slept through the night. I think his belly was telling him that it usually got fed at that time and would wake him up, even though he didn't really need fed. It didn't take long to break the habit and my son was still a chunky happy baby.

I’ve swapped the boob for a pacifier and he’s been fine.
