One crazy love story lol I need help.

So I dated my boyfriend when I was 13 and he was my first love. We were on and off It took us seven years to get back together. I’ve known his family for a very long time. We recently got back together we’ve been together for nine months. I’m very close to his sister i’ve known her since I was 13 too. My boyfriend got me a promise ring. His mom is always talking shit but she’s super friendly to my face. I have respect for her so I never really say anything. My boyfriend was extremely happy about getting me a promise ring and apparently from what I’ve heard from multiple people that all she did was talk shit about me and said I forced him to get that. Here recently there’s been more problems because every time I go over there she would say I’m talking shit about people over reality it was her. My bf just tells me his mom like to start drama and unnecessary problems so he tells me to pay no mind to her. But it just really upsets me because I try my best not to say anything to her but how are you going to stay at Force son to do something when he clearly told you he did it his self.   I literally had no idea he was even getting me a promise ring. She tried to get me and her daughter in arguments to try to get one of my other friends in arguments with me saying I’m talking shit when I’m not and I confront her one time about it and she swore up and down that I was lying. So I came to the conclusion that I’m just not going to go over there.
