I was talking to this guy at the start of lockdown (March) and we finally met last month. He's a really sweet guy but we've been on 5 dates now and he doesn't really say much. I think he might be a bit shy as he says he gets really nervous for our dates and as someone who is a bit anxious and nervous anyway I completely understand. But it's gotten to the point where it gets awkward and quiet. I try and keep conversation going as much as possible but he doesn't always say much back. We had one or two dates that was really nice but ones that involve restaurants we just end up sitting there awkwardly. Thing is I don't wanna give up on him if it just nerves as its a bit cruel. What would you do?
