Burping

Does your baby burp at every feed? My baby used to burp at every feed, but lately it’s been getting harder to burp him. He doesn’t like laying over my shoulder anymore and the sitting method (while supporting his neck) will work about 60% of the time. The rest of the time he will fall asleep before burping, fuss and twist, or just spit up a little (with no burp). Is this normal or am I giving up too fast? Sometimes during his dream feeds I just give up and lay him back down without burping him bc he’ll fall asleep.

Are there any other burping techniques that maybe I haven’t tried? Or should I not stress about burping at every feed?
