That is a wolf spider dear. They are pretty scary to look at but are basically hunter spiders. They mainly eat a lot of insects big or small. At time when provoked they are aggressive. No venom thank god. But they do belong outside and like 500 feet away from your home.

It's a wolf spider. They can get really big, but they're very shy and non-aggressive. You have to really scare one for it to bite you. Here are some shots of one similar to yours. With wolf sliders you have to be careful if you decide to smash it. Get it in one hit with something flat because females carry their eggs on their backs and if you botch a smashing of a "pregnant" spider, you're risking unleashing hundreds of tiny wolf spiderlings. That's definitely a burn down the house kind of situation.

Omg I'd lose my shit if I saw one of those. I live in Las Vegas NV and have never seen something like that. We do get alot of scorpions which are scary, but not as scary as that.
