5w6d no heartbeat no baby on US

I went to the doctor thinking i was 9w3d according to my last menstral period but they couldnt find the baby. Positive pregnancy test, blood test came back with high level of hormones. They only found a sac and said it was measuring at 5w6d. No heartbeat, no baby. I went back to have blood drawn to see if my hormones have doubled but the waiting is killing me. I am so scared, this never happened with my forst pregnancy. Doctor said it could be a blighted ovum. Anyone else had something similar happen to them? 😔
