Postpartum depression/anxiety
Anyone else terrified of having postpartum depression or anxiety?
I’ve dealt with anxiety in the past for years, but have felt strangely calm my whole pregnancy and haven’t had any anxiety.
A lot of my anxiety is triggered by a lack of sleep, which is why I’m so scared that my anxiety will come back even worse than ever with a newborn.
I plan on reaching out to my doctor and family as soon as I start to feel anxious or depressed and ask for help, but are there any ways to try and prevent postpartum depression or anxiety before it happens?
