If You Eat Ramen uncooked you’re Opressed?
“Those of us privileged enough (yes, I said privileged) to enter into the lives of children with hard life experiences must be willing to sit down, eat uncooked Ramen noodles and listen.”

A social media friend posted a story the other day about a foster child growing up eating uncooked ramen. He said it reminded him of the hard times and every time he ate uncooked ramen it reminded him to be strong. The foster mom tried it and said it was not great, then wrote a story about children growing up in trauma infused homes such as her foster child.
I don’t know about you guys, but I grew up on ramen and often ate it uncooked. I thought it was delicious. I’m not sure if this story was supposed to focus on the abuse the child had gone through or on the uncooked ramen (maybe it was a poorly written narrative) but I took it as kids who grow up eating uncooked ramen are oppressed. Anyone seen that post? Can anyone enlighten me on the point?
