12 almost 13 weeks for my FIRST appointment!?!?

So I guess I’m wanting to know is this normal or is this because of Covid!?. I’ve never had a pregnancy make it to 6 weeks which I’m about there but every time I would call to schedule an appointment before they would schedule to confirm like 6-8 weeks? I feel 12 almost 13 weeks is a very late time to be looking for your baby for the first time?

You could call another OB, but it is pretty normal.

A lot of doctors do this even preCOVID. My office didn’t and doesn’t but I do know some of my friends have had later appointments because of COVID.

2 years ago , I didn’t get my first my first ultrasound until I was 13 weeks, this pregnancy I have my first ultrasound in 7 days , and I’ll be 8 weeks almost 9

Normal. Both of mine were at 10 weeks but some doctors wait a little longer
