Kissing someone with bigger lips

I have small lips and my SO has bigger lips, so it can make kissing tricky sometimes. when we kiss, around my lips is wet as well and I have to use my hand to wipe it away, it makes me feel goofy lol. Sometimes he even feels bad and wipes around my lips himself, he’s so sweet. I asked him to kiss more puckered and that seemed to make it less wet around my lips but just wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing.

In the end, I really don’t think it matters how wet a kiss is I’ve just always been a germaphobe so stuff like spit always bothered me, but gradually I’ve felt less germaphobic than usual around him:)

Off but on-topic: When I give him a bj, I can smell my own spit and it’s not super pleasant. I brush my teeth and stay hydrated, so I’m not sure if that’s just me being germaphobic again?
