I’m so confused

So before everyone starts hating I know it’s wrong and I do love my boyfriend if I didn’t we wouldn’t have lasted as these years but it’s not been without it problems and lately our problems seem to be happening more often so my friends have been here for me including a guy friend now nothing has happened yet we’ve had a cuddle and he’s said how he feels and part of me kind of feels the same he’s always here for me and my son unlike my boyfriend who is never home and when he has spare time will spend it with his friends I don’t know what to do how can I just walk away from a 6 year relationship?

What if it’s the wrong choice to leave?
