Any hopes? Please read

I went to the doctor because I noticed some light bleeding after having sex. No pain, no heavy bleeding just at the moment and I had no bleeding after that. Since is my first baby I freaked out and went to the ER, I just had my first ultrasound at 5 weeks or even less Im not sure how far I am, according to my app im 5weeks 6 days.

They couldn’t find a baby or a sac. They offer me to do a Dilation and curettage of Uterus right away. Im military in Germany and this was at a german doctor off post because my doctor couldn’t see me. I decided to not do curettage and try to call again my doctor on base.

He said he normally dont do ultrasound before 7 weeks, and that I might just be too early. He said if Im not excessively bleeding and in pain to wait 2 more weeks to do another ultrasound and that spotting in early pregnancy is normal. My HCG levels are in 3,000 right know. The german nursed said it should be more than that but then my doctor on base said it is a very good HCG level.

Should I keep hopes that my baby is in there or it’s it really just a ectopic pregnancy?
