Instant formula or powder

Which do you use ? Just trying to see options Incase I’m unable to breastfeed. I’m a first time mom

Powdered is cheaper and liquid ( ready to use ) is super convenient. I honestly bought both and would use the ready to use if I was out and about for long periods of time. Or if baby happened to be super hungry and crying it was quicker to just give her a ready to use.

The cheapest formula we have found was at sam’s club. It’s 22 dollars for 4 pounds. It’s the best deal. They have sensitive,  gentle, and advantage. Compares to similac. I’m not sure if Samˋs club is nationwide.

So we did powder formula, after 6 formula changes (the baby technically decides what works for them) we used the Dr Browns pitcher to make enough formula for a day, stored it in the fridge and heated the bottles as needed.

Powder and this machine. You adjust the settings based on formula and its easy to change oz and takes seconds to make a bottle. I do recommend buying an extra filter or 2 bc it needs to be cleaned every 4 uses and having and extra filter is a must.

I have used both. I like the powder for the everyday stuff. Also less expensive. Big fan of the Dr. Browns pitcher (especially for the formula I linked, it’s very bubbly if shaken). I’ve used the liquid for quick overnight trips. Its kind of convenient. It does have to be refrigerated after opening though. Sometimes the liquid will get my girl a little constipated 🤷🏻‍♀️

We used powder. I never wanted to use the ready made cause it’s extra work to me. My son did perfectly fine with room temp water bottle and put the scoop(s) in and done. He had formula since birth
