Anyone recently wean baby from bottle?

I know we’ve kept the bad habit of using a bottle of milk for nap and bed too long.. but he has always slept so good this way. Anyone wean their LO recently from bottle at bed and nap?? How did you do it? Thanks

I just did!! She always had a milk bottle before bed, then I’d try to brush teeth read a book, but she was always out. But I need off bottle- I started Monday night- she cried for a while so I gave her a bottle with water she drank not even half then was out . Last night even less water and she pushed it away pointed to her crib and passed right out. Tonight, hopefully no water and so on until Friday I won’t give her a bottle at all.

Working on it... we had four bottles a day - wake up, 10, 2, bedtime. We tried weaning before and he freaked out. Doc said have to do it. We have cut all out and try to use sippy cups with meals (which first few days he just threw them - slowly getting better), but we still give an ounce or so when getting ready for bed. Then brush teeth after, play for a minute, and he typically crashes. Idk, I felt like baby steps were positive since he would have melt downs when we tried milk in a sippy cup two weeks ago!
