Removed nipple rings

I just took out my nipple rings, I've had them in for 3 years

And oh my god, it feels so good, like I can run my hands over my boobs without worrying about pulling them

I love them, like I love the look of them, I felt so sexy in them

But honestly for the past 3 years I was always afraid to have them caught on something, cause it seriously hurts, and then takes forever to heal

Did anyone else take theirs out? Did your nipples stay poking out all the time afterwards? Or did they go back to how they were before getting pierced?
