is it possible to request a c-section?

im not pregnant yet, but i will be a FTM (apart from miscarriages). i was wondering if anyone has been able to schedule or request a c-section? i was on growth hormone treatment for a lot of my younger years, i was only 5lbs at birth. and even now im extremely petite... 5'-5'1 and 85lbs. im scared that i wont be able to give birth normally and something would happen to the baby. three years ago, i was 16+5 weeks and a high risk pregnancy when i lost my son. i think my body would have difficulty in childbirth, i wasnt far enough along in any of my pregnancies to find out how difficult it would be in the third trimester, yet alone giving birth. if anyone has any advice it would be hugely appreciated!

I'm 4'11 99 pounds and I gave natural birth ( no epidural ) to a baby that was 21" and almost 9 pounds. If I can do it so can you!

I am sorry for your loss.
I would ask the doctor before you get pregnant. It's entirely possible the doctor will say yes. 
But if its a no, here's some info.
Your pelvis is made up if lots of bones held together with ligaments so it can move around a lot. The hormone relaxin releases during labor to make your pelvis a super flexer. Squatting, all fours or side lying can give you 30% more space to deliver a baby. Often times people will be told their pelvis is too small to birth a baby usually this is implied and not a diagnosis. CPD is actually fairly rare. 
The rest of your body really doesn't matter what size you are to deliver.

Ways to avoid tearing the best you can:
*perineal massage
*side lying or hands and knees position can help prevent tearing (squatting you are more likely to tear but not as much as the raised bed on your back position).
*warm water compress held on perineum during crowning. 
*waiting a few seconds after delivering head before pushing the rest of baby out.

This is something ur OB will talk with u about as far as being high risk. As far as ur height and stature go my friend is 4'9" and had a 10 pound baby with no issues and she too was tiny. But ur OB will weigh in on it

My sister is 4'11 and maybe about 150 pounds and popped out an 8 pound baby with no problem. Don't underestimate your body it can do a lot more than you think. I think if you needed a c-section your doctors would give you one because they know what they're doing. Trust in your doctors.

My aunt had her last baby (she has 4 kids) 5 years ago and she chose to have a c-section because everything she gave birth she would break her tail bone. To this day she says she would have rather broken her tail bone again then go through the recovery of a c-section

If d Dr agree that it's necessary then all good (I've had am emergency c section) but u can request it too.

When you do reach that point,  just talk to the doctor.  My doc wasn't up for such things with a ftm until delivery and then he might order one emergency but not planned.  My sister's doc, much older man, scheduled them regularly if the patient asked.  Good luck! !
