Prune juice ? One month old.

Baby has been constipated dr said to give her half an ounce of prune juice . Has anyone had to do this ? I’m scared to give it to her

My baby girl will be 8 weeks Thursday and her doctor told us to give her a half teaspoon on miralax in her bottle. She had been struggling with bowel movements since switching to Similac Alimentum. It’s helped soooo much

We had to do this with my daughter. It did seem to help. I just mixed it in with her bottle. Started small like a half ounce a day then gave a little more if I didn’t see it was helping

My doctor told us to do the same. It kind of helps but not really. She will go once every other day. But she struggles and it doesn’t exactly cone out soft 😔😔

We just started this too. My daughter is 8 weeks old and on breastmilk. Breastmilk usually doesn’t cause constipation but my daughter is only pooping once a week but gets so uncomfortable in between so we’re trying to encourage her to go more often. We’ve only been doing it a couple days but she doesn’t mind it so far, we just mix it with milk.

We regularly gave it to our first kiddo.  Just mixed it into his bottle and it worked great.
