Posterior tongue tie

Baby is almost two months and due to having sore nipples and a fussy baby i wanted to see a LC again. I’ve had like 10 peds look at her mouth since she’s born for a tongue tie, even the day before I was told she had none. Well the LC said she sees a posterior one... I believe her because all her symptoms make sense. But I’m just curious, why has it only caused me nipple pain until now? I’ve had friends babies who had tongue ties and they said they had pain from day one. I had latch pain originally and from a cracked nipple but the last month I’ve had no pain... has this happened to anyone else? I’m trying to find a ped dentist to confirm but it’s so weird that I’m only in pain now!
