Clomid and progesterone

Hi all! I was given Clomid 100mg to take this cycle days 3-7. Today I’m on cycle day 7 woohoo. My doctor also gave me progesterone pills to take the second half of my cycle (They said cycle day 13) but what if I do not ovulate by then? shouldn’t I be taking it after I ovulate? Also my doctor is not checking to see if I did ovulate. I’m using opks and bbt. Anyone else take Clomid and progesterone? When did you start taking progesterone? Just looking for similar experiences. I know everyone is different!
