My daughter is 6 days old and the diapers the hospital had given me had burned her chemically, I have been putting rash cream I just don't know what else to do she has an upcoming appointment too any suggestions until her appointment  ? And yea I have changed the diaper brand to a new one

Let her be naked as much as possible. Breastmilk bath.

I would let her bottom air out as much as you can, and you could always call her drs office and ask for suggestions from them.

Mu baby had a chemical burn from diaper cream (go figure lol) it had fragrance in it. We stopped using wipes and used cotton balls with water and then make sure the but is completely dry. Then use aquaphor! We also used triple paste (one change aquaphor the other triple paste) but i swear it was the aquaphor that saved her but! Also give baby a bath with breast milk and let baby dry off naked for some tummy time! Air helps! Took about a week not so for it to go away

Breastmilk is awesome on all types of skin irritations. 
Apple cider vinegar bath is also good but baby might still be a little young for that so I'd check with your pediatrician first. 
Also don't use baby wipes they have alcohol in them instead use just a wet cloth with water.
