Postpartum bleeding after sex

little over 6 weeks postpartum and the last time I had sex the day after I started spotting and have been spotting for two or three days I'm not sure if it's related to sex or if it could be a "period" or normal spotting from birth control but I'm on the mini pill and with that pill they say you aren't supposed to get a period .. so did anyone have spotting for a few days after sex in postpartum?
