Wipe warmers?

We don't have a wipe warmer right now for our kiddo but we are going into the winter months and my husband wants to get one so the wipes don't get too cold for baby? Do you have one? Is it useful? Does it breed bacteria?

I’ve always had a wipe warmer for my children. As long as you clean it routinely, it’s perfectly safe and sanitary. With my first child, the wipes would dry out sometimes. With my new baby, I bought the Munchkin Mist Wipe Warmer. Problem solved! It’s a luxury for my children to have nice, warm wipes and it was very reasonably priced and worth it to me. I paid around $25 for mine.

My midwife suggested putting wipes in my bra before starting to change the nappy so they'd warm up a little by the time I used them

I had my baby in January and never used one. I never felt like it was necessary or wished I had one.

Do you plan on getting a battery operated one for trips out too? A cold wipe should be on the bottom of your list of things to think about lol

Never used one. 3 kids have gone through Midwest winters where we typically don’t turn our heat above 64. 
I’ve heard horror stories of babies getting used to the warm wipes and freaking out when you go back to regular ones. 
Also, most tend to dry the wipes out, so it can be wasteful. 
But some people love them. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Waste of money. Someone gave me one for my shower and I returned it. You’re not gonna have warm wipes everywhere you go so figured why have them at home. Plus perfect for bacteria to grow in a warm moist environment

We have one and it's great . I would recommend getting one if you can !. there's nothing a baby appreciates more than a warm wipe on their butt rather than a freezing cold one lol...
Altho when we go camping or at someone's house we don't have one there so the wipe is cool and baby doesn't care but I like wiping their bum with a warm wipe , and she has never had a problem with rashes because of it.

I never used one but with a next baby, I’d like to get it so that way they wouldn’t cry so much when I wipe their butt with a warm wipe in the winter. I hated seeing my baby cried his eyes out every time I wiped his butt with a cold wipe. Anyways, it’s really up to you. If you want it then go ahead buy it.

I always just warmed the wipes up in my hands if it was a little chilly and it worked fine. I know I personally would forget to refill the warmer after the first few times 😂
