IUD - Help?

Question

I got my IUD placed yesterday, I was extremely anxious but I'm worried now about side affects, and also horror stories of the infamous IUD falling out or Perforating the uterus? Im 17 and full of questions.

I have had a great experience with the Skyla IUD. I didn’t feel pain during the insertion. It is normal to feel some cramping or have some spotting in the next couple months.
Perforation is more likely to happen during insertion, so now that you are past that, don’t worry unless you are having extreme pain or bleeding.
I personally haven’t experienced any hormonal changes, and I am loving the IUD!
