What are the right questions to ask a partner before getting pregnant?

Me and my partner are very seriously considering getting pregnant, but I want to make sure we are on the same page about raising kids and really have clear and honest  expectations of and with each other. What are the most important questions we can ask each other?

Discipline philosophy 
Finances
If you're dating, not married, coparenting back up plans if your relationship fails

Can you each handle care of a special needs child?

Based on my own family, I think an important one is, how would your partner react if his mother overstepped their boundaries or went over a parental choice for your kid? Would he sweep under the rug or stand by you

I think most of parenting comes on the fly because you won’t know how you’ll react to certain things until you’re in the situation. In general - I deal with my family, my husband deals with his (setting the rules, correcting them about things we’ve agreed on, etc.). We both discussed a lot of long term things like how we want to provide for our child (I want to pay for college, it’s a priority to me) and other aspects (car at 16? Disney? Camping trips? Religion? Public vs. private schools? Sports?) etc. Ultimately most of those things are kind of irrelevant until you run into them, but it’s nice to be on the same page.

Before you ask any questions take 3 days and set an alarm every 2 hours all day. See how you act around each other. If you are biting each others heads off you're probably not ready for an infant. If not, then move on to questions about reallye everything everyone above said.

Are you able to create a stable home
Stable job
Mentally in a good spot 
Are you ready for the lifestyle change (it is a big change) 
What kind of parents do you see yourselves being ( stricked, layed back, will you let them cry it out/ never cry, eat everything on your plate or pick what they eat, time out or spanking) make sure you have an idea of where your partner stands 
Will one of you stay at home? Will you do daycare? Can you afford daycare yet? 
Also do both of you trust each other to hold up your half of the work, having a baby is a couples project, do you trust each other to hold up your end of the work?
Of course if you get pregnant you will muddle though but if you have the choice I recommend you check where you stand on these before deciding:)  
Funny story bff had a baby with this man she had been with for three years, upon having the baby they realized their parenting styles were COMPLETELY opposite, she was calm relaxed baby will be fine he was baby must wear an owlet at all times to make sure she is breathing. Long story short they are now separated and have shared custody as they just couldn’t parent together due to difference in believes (catholic- Islamic)
