Do I need to go to A&E

So all started about 3 days ago I had sex with my SO and bled a little bit afterwards, then every couple hours I get excruciating pain through my belly and back to the point where I’m bent over double and crying and whimpering etc. Also been having extreme amounts of discharge that is sometimes normal like white and creamy and sometimes yellow strands of mucus. Started happening again today and I went to the loo and something was hanging out of me which I pulled out with some tissue and it looked a lot like my mucus plug with bits of blood through it. Rang the maternity ward they told me to leave work and go home have a hot water bottle and take paracetamol and put my feet up and see if it passed but because I’m only 19+2 they won’t bring me in because I’m not 20 weeks so if it continues badly need to phone 111 or go A&E. Now been about 5 hours since my plug came out and just been to the loo and wiped and there was a fair amount of blood and chunks of mucus and the pain is starting again. Do I need to go to A&E now or just continue resting? I’m a FTM and have major anxiety and don’t want to panic/overreact and waste their time 😬
