Really starting to hate video games

I am 35 weeks pregnant and have two step kids. I am usually the one that gets up with them in the morning and I do the bulk of the cleaning. I'm tired. I want to sleep, but every night until midnight, and tonight later, I can't sleep because all I can here is my boyfriend gaming. He acts like he's entitled to hours of gaming every night and makes a big deal out of the fact that I ask him to cook dinner and not throw his clothes on the ground all over the house. I'm so frustrated. Why do so many men feel like these games are so important that they neglect their family? He's a caring and hard working man but from 8pm on, it's like I'm the worst person ever for asking anything other than for him to game. It just doesn't feel fair. He also thinks that because I can't sleep while he's yelling at the stupid TV it's somehow my problem and I have sleep problems and need help.
