Am I the only one?

Question

I'm 5 weeks today and I'm just so ready to be out the first trimester. I have light and intermittent cramping with no bleeding but not everyday. Also, Not much of a discharge change. I wouldn't say it stresses me out but it's always in the back of my mind that I could miscarry. I'm just ready for this part to be over.

I know how you feel. I was so worried at every little twinge. I can't say I have completely gotten out of the worrying stage - I don't know that you ever do. I'm 26 weeks now...maybe we just get better at managing our worries? I did feel some relief at the NT scan at 12 weeks so hopefully you can get one and get some relief too. Good luck and I hope it flies by for you!

I can totally relate. I'm 5 weeks too and have been experiencing lower abdominal cramps and back pain for the past couple weeks ugh. I am constantly feeling anxious and don't feel like I can be fully happy about peanut until the first trimester is over. While there is no point in worrying, I can't help it.

You will always worry. I thought that when i was in my first trimester but im nearly 24 weeks now and still worry about stuff! X

I don't think that feeling and worry ever goes away...I think it's just part of motherhood! I'm sure you will never stop worrying about your child! Try to just think positive and believe in your bodies ability to carry a child :) I'm sure you are doing everything you can to have a healthy and strong baby and that's all you can do!
