1st HPT positive, the next 3 negative...HELP!

So I’m 7 days late which isn’t weird for me because I JUST stopped my birth control so I figured my body would need time to adjust.

But just to be sure I took a pregnancy test and it said POSITIVE. This was at about 5:30pm. Then I took another one around 8:30pm

and another one around 10:00pm and both were negative.

I was told morning urine is the best for a test so I tested as soon as I woke up at 6:00am and it was negative.

Is this a false positive??? I’ve been having some light abdominal cramping for 2 days, sort of like a dull constant pain but no bleeding or spotting.

Chemical pregnancy? False negatives?? HELP!
